Cardiff Bay is "Europe's most exciting waterfront". It is also the largest, and most diverse resource site in south-east Wales. A visit to the Bay can offer teachers and students at all levels, from Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum to post-graduate research, the opportunity to explore and investigate.

Areas of interest include history; geography; art; science; citizenship; sociology and urban development and regeneration.
On view is a decade of achievements by the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation and stunning examples of the many achievements long before 'Cardiff Bay' replaced 'Tiger Bay'.

Butetown History and Arts Centre is an independent local charity based at the hub of these achievements. BHAC is able to offer a range of support and services which will make a success of any field visit or research study.
