A photographic
Exhibition by year two University of Wales
Institute, Cardiff BA (Hons) Graphic Communication
students at Butetown History & Arts
Centre.
In
making their images of Butetown these
young artists have been free to examine
their own visions of the city. Drawing
on particular histories of urban photography,
the work examines the gentrification of
the urban zone, documents the transitory
& broken location, and question the
veracity of the photographic image. The
result is a diverse collection of photographic
work which reflects the eclectic nature
of Butetown today.
